Jonathan Cain Hosts ABC Audio's Rock & Reelz Thanksgiving Weekend Special

Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee and Journey band member Jonathan Cain is tapped by ABC Audio to host its Rock & Reelz Thanksgiving weekend special. During the three-hour radio program, Cain takes a look back at some of the greatest rock songs from popular films such as 'Goodfellas,' 'Easy Rider,' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and more. The special features Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Aerosmith, Bob Seger, Pat Benatar, Blondie and Journey, as well as Cain's solo Christmas single “Wonder of Wonders” that is garnering significant radio airplay this holiday season.

ABC Audio Announces Thanksgiving Weekend Programming

ABC Audio will provide three specials to affiliates to kick off the holiday season over Thanksgiving weekend: “Every Girl At Christmas,” “Rock & Reelz” and “America's Bounty.”

Petaluma Records to Release STOP, HEY WHAT'S THAT SOUND

In January of 2020, as Americans get set to vote in the presidential primaries, Petaluma Records will release Stop, Hey What's That Sound: Classic Protest Songs Reimagined with liner notes from famed music critic Rob Tannenbaum.  Announced the compilation for a January 31, 2020 release with a premiere of a video for Renee Holiday & Nigel Harrison's (Blondie) cover of Patti Smith's 1988, “People Have The Power” via Audiofemme – share via YouTube.  Proceeds from the single, out tomorrow, will go to support Headcount.org.

ABC News' “Nightline” ranked No. 1 in Adults 25-54 (414,000), and Adults 18-49 (302,000) during the week of Sept. 30, 2019, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.  “Nightline” outdelivered CBS' “The Late Late Show with James Corden” (334,000 and 240,000, respectively) by 80,000 Adults 25-54 and 62,000 Adults 18-49.

PUNK ROCK GIRL by Joe Iconis to Receive Developmental Reading

Lively McCabe Entertainment recently announced Punk Rock Girl, a new musical for the stage featuring a score of popular songs written and made famous by female artists and female-fronted bands including Blondie, Avril Lavigne, Joan Jett, P!nk, Gwen Stefani and more. A new collaboration with BMG and R&H Theatricals, A Concord Music Company, the musical features a book and arrangements by Tony Award-nominee Joe Iconis (Be More Chill). The project will be directed and choreographed by Jennifer Werner (The Black Suits), with co-arrangements and orchestrations by Rob Rokicki (composer/lyricist of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical). Punk Rock Girl will be published and licensed by R&H Theatricals, A Concord Music Company.

'Good Deeds & Dirty Rags' LP Reissue Announced for Goodbye Mr MacKenzie

One of Scotland's most iconic rock bands, Goodbye Mr MacKenzie will be re-reissuing their seminal album 'Good Deeds and Dirty Rags'. Inspired by the massive success of their 30-year anniversary tour, they are doing a vinyl and CD reissue of the album that started it all. The long-play has been remastered for both formats.
