The festival is produced by and benefits Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Second Annual ArtsForAlz Alzheimer's Association Benefit Performance Announced

On October 14, a select group of NYC artists will gather in celebration of memory, movement, and community to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association at the second annual Arts for Alz benefit performance at The Tank NYC. Featuring work from leading choreographers Karla Puno Garcia (Hamilton, ENCORES at City Center Choreographer of Gone Missing), Billy Griffin (Mary Poppins, Young Frankenstein), Chris Jarosz (Wicked, National Tour) and more, the night takes audience members throughout the moments that connect us to each other, no matter who we are or where we come from. It is an evening to commemorate those we have lost and join together in hope for a brighter future.
Think Tank Celebrates Anniversary with Showcase

Ballet legend Wendy Whelanjoins a one-of-a-kind lineup of dance offering a remarkable range of styles at this year's Hudson Valley Dance Festivalon Saturday, October 6, 2018, in Catskill, NY. Also just added to the program are performances by modern dancers Annmaria Mazziniand Michael Trusnovec, The Washington Balletperforming a piece choreographed by famed ballet dancer Marcelo Gomes, as well as a Broadway number choreographed by Billy Griffin.

New York Musical Festival Announces 2017 Winners for NYMF Awards for Excellence

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) announced today the winners of the 2017 NYMF Awards for Excellence, which were awarded on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Hudson Terrace (621 W 46th St, New York, NY 10036). The 2017 NYMF Award for Best Musical Sponsored by Play-by-Play was awarded to GENERATION ME, with the Show-Score Best of Fest Awards for Readings, Concerts/Events and Productions, going to CHRISTMAS IN HELL, DORIAN GRAY, and ERROL AND FIDEL, respectively. GENERATION ME took home the most awards, with GEORAMA: AN AMERICAN PANORAMA TOLD ON 3 MILES OF CANVAS, ERROL AND FIDEL, and FREEDOM RIDERS taking home multiple prizes as well.
