This morning, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced the nominees for the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. The three-hour telecast hosted by Ricky Gervais will air live on NBC coast to coast Sunday, January 5, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. EST/5:00 p.m. PST.
John Mulaney is an Emmy Award winning writer and comedian. He recently toured the United States with, Kid Gorgeous, which was also released as a Netflix Special in May 2018 and won the Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Special. Additionally, he has hosted SNL twice, in April 2018 and March 2019. Previously, John starred in the Broadway hit, Oh, Hello on Broadway alongside Nick Kroll. He can most recently be heard in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse which won the Golden Globe for best Animated Feature Film.
USA Network has set the cast and director for the pilot MASTERS OF DOOM. The pilot will star Eduardo Franco ('Booksmart'), Patrick Gibson ('The OA'), John Karna ('Valley of the Boom'), Jane Ackermann ('Neptune') and Siobhan Williams ('Deadly Class'). Peter Friedman ('Succession') will recur as a guest star.

The special episode will also be available on demand and on the IFC app. Snubbed by the American Theater Wing's Tony Awards® in 1970, even though it only ran for one performance, “Co-Op” is re-taking the theater world by storm thanks to being featured in Season 52 of the critically-acclaimed IFC series Documentary Now!.
