This summer The Farm Theater is pleased to present Padraic Lillis' solo show, Hope You Get to Eleven, or What Are We Going to Do About Sally?, directed byScott Illingworth and presented as part of the 8th Annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. Performances will be on June 23 at 7:30pm, June 25 at 5pm, June 29 at 7:30pm, and July 3 at 4:30pm at The Paradise Factory (64 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery). This year's creator/performer line up features Rachelle Elie in her original musical comedy solo extravaganza Shit I'm In Love With You Again, local comedian and actor Daniel Stolfitraces his comedy roots in Finding Funny, life coach and sage advisor Darlene Chrissley shares her life philosophies in In Chaos I Trust, storytelling favourite and Canadian Screen Award-winner Rob Norman's I Like You, Do You Like Me? reveals his past and asks the audience to consider their own histories. Improv superstar Natasha Boomer shares exactly what it feels like when you go from guru to corporate liability in All Fired Up, Richard Lett's Sober But Never Clean follows his 30 year career as a comedian, poet, singer-songwriter and more, through the depths of addiction and back again and Broadway veteran Bill Bowers breaks his silence about growing up gay in Montana, studying with Marcel Marceau and life on the Great White Way in It Goes Without Saying. Four SOULO Theatre alumni each present an original autobiographical ten minute show in the second SOULO Salon: Nicola Elbro returns to the SOULO Festival in #grateful, Morgan Joy presents her puppet dramedy The Life Boat, Amish Patel talks eating disorders and comedy in Fat Shamed By My Mom and Silvi Santososhares songs and stories of life as a new immigrant in Bedazzled.
All For One Sets Off-Broadway Spring Season

All for One Theater, known for full-length solo shows seen at stages across America since 2011, is presenting two Off-Broadway productions for their Spring Season. All Over The Map, written and performed by Bill Bowers (directed by Martha Banta) will begin performances Thursday, April 21st and open Wednesday, April 27th for a limited run through Sunday, May 8th. Thao's Library, written and performed by Elizabeth Van Meter (directed by Joe Ricci), will begin performances on Wednesday, April 20th and open Thursday, April 28th for a limited run through Saturday, May 7th. United Solo Concludes 2015 Run; Winners Announced

The ten-week run of the United Solo Festival, featuring 150 productions from six continents, concluded on Sunday, November 22 at Theatre Row in New York, where the festival is a resident company. Beginning with its opening night on September 17, United Solo presented between two and five shows every day, in a vast array of categories. Over 80 of the shows were sold out, and nearly 30 were presented in the ENCORE program, which features companies returning to the festival after successful performances in previous years.
San Diego Rep Production of Greg Kalleres' HONKY to Air on PBS Tomorrow

HONKY by Greg Kalleres received its World Premiere at NYC's Award winning Theatre Company Urban Stages in the spring of 2013. The Urban Stages production, directed by Luke Harlan, received raves, and the play was subsequently remounted later that year. Due to its NY success, HONKY was produced at San Diego Rep and was filmed by PBS and OnStage in America and will receive a landmark presentation tomorrow, November 6, at 10PM (www.pbs.org/onstage-in-america/honky/home/).

United Solo Europe Returning to Poland

This is the third season of United Solo Europe at Teatr Syrena in Warsaw, Poland. The company, based at Theatre Row on 42nd Street in New York City, brings its top-notch solo shows overseas. In previous seasons United Solo Europe has hosted, among many distinguished artists, the two-time Laurence Olivier Award winner Fiona Shaw, and Regina Advento, a member of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch. This Spring, the artistic director of United Solo in New York, Omar Sangare, in collaboration with the managing director of Teatr Syrena, Jakub Biegaj, and the artistic director of Teatr Syrena, Wojciech Malajkat, selected new shows and created another week-long theatre festival directed toward European audiences.

Now celebrating its 25th Anniversary, the Adopt-A-School Project is education outreach for underserved New Jersey students who have little or no exposure to live theater or theater arts education. Throughout the multi-year sequence, students have direct access to live performances, theater artists and professional teaching artists that is completely free to participating schools. Since Paper Mill Playhouse created the Adopt-A-School Project in 1989, it has provided over 7,000 students in 70 high schools with quality resources that otherwise would not have been available to them.
