Gregg Edelman and Penny Fuller to Join Kate Baldwin in Berkshire's A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC this Summer

Berkshire Theatre Group has announced additional casting for A Little Night Music. Four-time Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk Award winner Gregg Edelman will play the role of Fredrik Egerman and Emmy Award winner and two-time Tony Award nominee Penny Fuller will play the role of Madame Armfeldt for BTG's 2014 summer musical. Ethan Heard, who directed BTG's 2013 hit murder mystery The Cat and the Canary, will direct Stephen Sondheim's award-winning musical which also features Tony Award and Drama Desk nominee Kate Baldwin, internationally-acclaimed vocalist and actress Maureen O'Flynn, and Broadway and television actor Graham Rowat.

The world's largest solo theatre festival in association with Indie Theater Now, a digital library of theatrical plays, presents a collection of scripts available online. These plays have been selected from 120 productions presented in the 2013 season at United Solo. The shows represent many genres and styles, and include pieces written especially for the festival stage, as well as shows brought to New York's 42nd Street after successful runs elsewhere.

A selection of high-quality one-person productions, including those awarded in previous seasons, will be presented today, September 12-15, 2013 on the stage of Teatr Syrena, a premier three-hundred-seat venue located in downtown Warsaw, Poland.

This week, United Solo Theatre Festival is launching its new international showcase in Europe. Selected shows will be presented September 12-15, 2013 on the Teatr Syrena stage, a premier, three-hundred seat venue located in downtown Warsaw, Poland. The program includes a solo piece by Regina Advento, a member of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, as well as other shows performed by United Solo veterans and award winners, including Bill Bowers, Mark Gindick, Herbert Kaluza, Ewa Kasprzyk, and Anthony Nikolchev. This overseas showcase in September precedes the major eight-week run of United Solo scheduled for October and November in New York City.
