In celebration of the eighth annual Jewish American Heritage Month, the White House will be hosting on Tuesday, May 21st, a staging of the critically acclaimed 'The Gefilte Fish Chronicles the Musical', directed by Emily Maltby, with orchestrator James Higgins.

terraNOVA COLLECTIVE and Producing Artistic Director, Jennifer Conley Darling, are pleased to present acclaimed mime, Bill Bowers' BEYOND WORDS, straight from a White House engagement to the west village: BEYOND WORDS will be a special headliner to kick off the 10TH Annual soloNOVA Arts Festival, the award-winning and longest-running solo performance festival in New York City, performing Wednesday May 22 at 8pm and Saturday May 25 at 2pm at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street, NYC). The eight other solo shows included in the soloNOVA Arts Festival will play two weeks only at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, inside the landmark Archive Building). Performances begin Thursday, May 23 and continue through Sunday, June 2.

TerraNOVA COLLECTIVE and Producing Artistic Director, Jennifer Conley Darling, are pleased to announce two special headliner events as part of the 10TH Annual soloNOVA Arts Festival, the award-winning and longest-running solo performance festival in New York City. Acclaimed mime, Bill Bowers' BEYOND WORDS, and Jeanne Sakata's HOLD THESE TRUTHS performed by the 2013 Drama Desk Award nominee Joel De La Fuente, will be presented in celebration of the art of solo storytelling.

Local and international artists are invited to submit their shows to the world's largest solo theatre festival. Proposals may represent all varieties of solo performance, including storytelling, puppetry, dance, improv, stand-up, magic, drama, and others. Selected shows will be presented between October 3 and November 24, 2013 at Theatre Row in New York City.

On the day following the tragedies in Newtown, CT, 46 students from the Creative Planet School of the Arts harmonized onstage with the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles. Together, they performed 'Peace on Earth' and 'Little Drummer Boy,' dedicating their performance to the families in Newtown and to everyone whose lives have forever been changed by violence. United Solo, the world's largest solo theatre festival, concluded its third annual season with a closing ceremony held on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Theatre ROW on 42nd Street in New York City. Local and international performers, special guests, and festival team members gathered to celebrate the one hundred solo productions that were offered this fall.

A Couple of Blaguards is a two-character comedy, created by the brothers Frank McCourt and Malachy McCourt, best known for their literary works Angela's Ashes and A Monk Swimming. The McCourt brothers tell the tale of their early lives in Ireland and their successful escape to America.

WaterTower Theatre's Producing Artistic Director and Out of the Loop Fringe Festival Producer Terry Martin today announced that for the first time in the Festival's history many of the performances will be streamed live on WTT's Ustream channel. In addition to the live streaming of shows, the channel will also feature backstage interviews with several artists.

Passage Theatre, Trenton's only professional theater company, will present its 11th Annual Solo Flights Festival from March 2 through March 25. Performances will take place at the Mill Hill Playhouse, located at 205 E. Front Street at the corner of Montgomery Street in the heart of Trenton's historic Mill Hill district.
