Maureen Beattie, Forbes Masson, and Reuben Joseph will lead Finn den Hertog’s new adaptation of Shakespeare’s tragedy at Pitlochry Festival Theatre this summer.

This autumn Tron Theatre will present the world premiere of Uma Nada-Rajah’s new play Black Hole Sign, in a co-production with the Traverse Theatre Company, in association with National Theatre of Scotland.

Set in a world where all the fish have inexplicably vanished, Yellowfin is a deep dive into a dystopian future. The play offers a timely insight into our sense of citizenship and responsibility to the planet, as we too navigate our own ‘new normal’. The worldwide premiere will be directed by Ed Madden (A Table Tennis Play; Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons).

Liz White will make her Chichester debut as Joy Gresham, opposite Hugh Bonneville as C.S. Lewis, in William Nicholson's award-winning play Shadowlands, directed in the Festival Theatre by Rachel Kavanaugh and running from 26 April - 26 May (press night: 2 May). Regent's Park Open Air Theatre have today announced casting for As You Like It. Directed by Max Webster, the production plays 06 July - 28 July.

Set in his home city in the month of Ramadan, Combustion is the first full-length play by Bradford-born Asif Khan, a new comic drama set in a local garage in the lead-up to a march by far-right nationalists. Following its run at Tara theatre, Combustion will transfer directly to Arcola Theatre before a UK tour.
