This summer, Sierra Stages is proud to present the musical "Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach" featuring words and music by the Tony and Academy Award-winning songwriting team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and book by Timothy Allen McDonald, based on the book "James and the Giant Peach" by Roald Dahl. "Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach" plays for four weekends only from July 12 through August 4 at the historic Nevada Theatre in Nevada City.
Buck Creek Players Brings Award-Winning New Musical To The Stage With DOGFIGHT

Buck Creek Players is proud to present the critically-acclaimed new musical, DOGFIGHT, based on the 1991 film of the same name starring River Phoenix and Lilli Taylor. Called 'poignant, funny and totally endearing' by AM New York, and nominated for nearly a dozen prominent New York Awards, DOGFIGHT will open on Friday, June 1st, and continue for a limited three weekend run through Sunday, June 17th. Curtain times are at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with 2:30 p.m. matinees on Sundays.

Ben Levi Ross will be donning the iconic blue polo as Evan Hansen - direct from the Broadway company - in the Tony Award-winning musical's First National Tour, launching in Denver this October. Ross made his Broadway debut in Dear Evan Hansen last fall as a cover for Connor, Jared and Evan at The Music Box Theatre.

It has just been announced that stars Ana Gasteyer as ("Miss Hannigan') and Megan Hilty ("Lily St. Regis.") have joined the cast of the upcoming Hollywood Bowl production of ANNIE, which will take place Friday, July 27, at 8 pm, Saturday, July 28, at 8 pm, and Sunday, July 29, at 7:30 pm.

Mike Faist's final performance in Dear Evan Hansen will be Sunday, May 13. Alex Boniello will join the company as Connor Murphy beginning Today, May 15. Additionally, Will Roland will play his final performance as Jared Kleinman on Sunday, June 10. It has yet to be announced who will take over as Jared.
