Newcomer, 11-year old rock n roll prodigy, Kjersti Long will headline Friday, March 23rd at 6pm at The Bitter End on Bleecker. Accompanied by Nashville's Born Crooked; Hunter Wolfe (guitar, vocals) and Are Wolfe (drums), Kjersti, pronounced 'care-stee' will perform classic rock and original songs at the iconic club.

Last month, Broadway's new Evan Hansen, Taylor Trensch, officially began his performances in the hit musical Dear Evan Hansen! Trensch took over for Noah Galvin, who most recently played Evan following original star Ben Platt's departure from the show. In January 2018, Broadway Across Canada announced the three musical productions coming to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre as part of the company's 2018-2019 season. "We wanted to pull out all the stops for our 20th anniversary season," says Broadway Across Canada's vice-president, Shana Levin. "The shows we're bringing include powerful true stories about community, empowerment, and the power of the human spirit," she says. "They're stories we could all learn from right now."

The 2018-2019 Broadway season at the Peace Center offers timeless stories of hope and history, a celebration of the undying human spirit and moments of uproarious laughter.

Broadway In Boston, Boston's mainstage for Broadway, has unveiled the upcoming 2018-2019 Lexus Broadway Season during its annual spring announcement event at the Boston Opera House.  Eleven theatrical productions will take center stage at the Boston Opera House and the Emerson Colonial Theatre.  Over 1500 people from around the city gathered for the annual celebration including Broadway In Boston's Season ticket holders, group leaders, arts and business leaders, city officials, partners from around the city, sponsors and the Boston media.  Highlights from the day included live performances from cast members of DEAR EVAN HANSEN, ROALD DAHL'S CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, SCHOOL OF ROCK and A BRONX TALE.  

According to the New York Times, Dear Evan Hansen will soon be turned into a young adult novel. Author Val Emmich has teamed with the hit musical's creators to create a page-turning work of fiction from the hit musical. 

A season of Tony Award-winning Broadway hits - Center premieres and returning favorites - await audiences during Segerstrom Center for the Arts' 2018-2019 Broadway and Curtain Call Series, plus a special Bonus Offer. Coming to the Center for the first time are Waitress, Dear Evan Hansen, Come From Away, Disney's Aladdin, and Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. There will be new productions of the Tony Award®-winning Best Musical Revival Hello, Dolly! starring Broadway legend Betty Buckley, Fiddler on the Roof and Cats. The season also includes two shows with remarkable and touching stories and iconic songs, Beautiful - The Carole King Musical and The Phantom of the Opera.

Blumenthal Performing Arts announces another extraordinary lineup for its upcoming 2018-19 PNC Broadway Lights season featuring eight new shows including six time 2017 Tony Award and 2018 Grammy Award winning Best Musical Dear Evan Hansen, Tony-winning Best Musical Revival Hello, Dolly! starring Broadway legend Betty Buckley and the hit Broadway musical Disney's Aladdin.

Tony Award-nominee - Ramin Karimloo - releases new track 'From Now On,' his version of the powerful song from the Oscar-nominated film The Greatest Showman. Written by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award-winning songwriting duo, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, 'From Now On' is available now for streaming and download HERE via all digital service providers. Broadway at the Hobby Center announced the lineup of shows for its 2018-2019 Season today. Tony Award® winners, premieres, and all-time favorites make up the new season of nine productions, including two season options.

Berkeley Playhouse continues their tenth anniversary season of professional theater for family audiences with the East Bay premiere of the newly enhanced theatrical telling of Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach, featuring new songs from the Oscar® and Tony Award-winning team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Broadway: Dear Evan Hansen, Film: The Greatest Showman, La La Land),  and book by award-winning playwright Timothy Allen McDonald (Jim Henson's Emmet Otter, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley).

The Calvary Murrieta Christian School Drama Department is proud to present their Spring Musical, JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, JR., directed by Chelsea and Daniel Lybeck and choreographed by Chelsea Lapp and Jamie Gallagher. The production will debut April 19 at 7 PM with additional performances on April 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28 at the same time. All performances are in the school's sanctuary at the upper campus.

The Dramatists Guild Foundation celebrated the work of Matt Gould at a salon hosted by Michael McCorry Rose on Monday, March 12. Matt spoke about his writing process and played selections from a number of his new works.

The Dramatists Guild Foundation (DGF) will toast the life and work of one of American theatre's greatest writers, Stephen Schwartz, on Monday April 23rd at 7PM EST at the Hudson Theatre (141 W 44th St, New York, NY 10036). The star-filled concert, sponsored in part by the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) and the Hudson Theatre, will showcase and shine a spotlight on Schwartz's beloved songs, stories, and legacy in celebration of his 70th Birthday.
