Tony-winning composer Jason Robert Brown's much-loved stage musical The Last Five Years gets the big screen treatment in The Last Five Years- a dynamic, achingly romantic new film from Oscar-nominated filmmaker Richard LaGravenese (The Fisher King) and starring Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick (Into the Woods, Pitch Perfect) and Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, 'Smash').

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the Pulitzer Prize winning play Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar will play its final Broadway performance on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Lyceum Theatre, 149 West 45th Street. As of that date, it will have played 149 performances and 27 previews. In addition to the Pulitzer Prize, Disgraced received Obie and Joseph Jefferson Awards. The show just celebrated its 100th performance and you can check out photos from the special night below!

Sundance Institute just presented playwright and Sundance Institute Theatre Lab alum Branden Jacobs-Jenkins with the first-ever Tennessee Williams Award from the Institute's Theatre Program, which supports the development of new work for the stage. Sundance Institute Emeritus Trustee Sally Field presented the honor and accompanying $10,000 grant at the Celebrate Sundance Institute benefit for its Theatre Program last night at Stephan Weiss Studio in Greenwich Village.

In tribute to '50 Years of Bond,' Kirsten Holly Smith (as Dusty Springfield) and Christina Sajous (as Dusty's lover, Claire), stars of the new musical Forever Dusty, have recorded a music video of 'The Look of Love,' putting a new spin on Burt Bacharach and Hal David's Oscar nominated classic made popular by Dusty Springfield herself from the 1967 James Bond film, Casino Royale. That year, the song famously lost the Academy Award to 'Talk to the Animals' from Doctor Doolittle, but at Sunday's Oscars, Adele is favored to win for her own Bond tune, a new rendition of 'Skyfall.' Audience members at this special performance were invited to participate and sing along to Dusty's greatest hits, including 'Son of a Preacher Man,' 'You Don't Have to Say You Love Me,' 'I Only Want to Be With You,' along with other classics included in the show, like 'Wishin' and Hopin,' 'Tell Him,' and many more.

Forever Dusty, the hit new musical about the life and times of legendary British pop star Dusty Springfield, will host a one-night-only Sing-A-Long performance tonight, February 13, 2013 at 7:00 PM. Audience members at this special performance will be invited to participate and sing along to Dusty's greatest hits, including 'Son of a Preacher Man,' 'You Don't Have to Say You Love Me,' 'I Only Want to Be With You,' along with other classics included in the show, like 'Wishin' and Hopin,' 'Tell Him,' and many more. The evening will be co-hosted by comedian Seth Herzog (often seen on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon') and Drag Diva Sherry Vine (Here TV's 'She's Living For This'), and fans are encouraged to dress in their best Dusty blonde beehive wigs and 1960s garb.
