After enjoying successful tour runs in Durban and Cape Town last year, the world-famous Beatles tribute show, Beatlemania On Tour, returns to South Africa for yet another exciting stint of performances, this time at Carnival City in Gauteng this May.

“I'm the messenger,” Mavis Staples says on the eve of her 80th birthday. “That's my job—it has been for my whole life—and I can't just give up while the struggle's still alive. We've got more work to do, so I'm going to keep on getting stronger and keep on delivering my message every single day.”

Last night renowned singer and songwriter Ben Harper performed “There Will Be A Light” on American Idol with Top 20 contestant Alejandro Aranda; watch it HERE. “There Will Be A Light” is the title track from Harper's 2004 album with The Blind Boys of Alabama which won a Grammy for Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album that year.

Celebrate Celine stars powerhouse vocalist Tiffany Desrosiers, who takes audiences on a journey through all of Celine Dion's biggest hits including 'The Power of Love', 'My Heart Will Go On', I'm Alive', 'Because You Loved Me', That's The Way It Is', 'The Prayer' and more! Tiffany brings her talent to the State Theatre on Saturday, April 27.

The second annual Deer Valley Concert Series, presented by Deer Valley Resort in conjunction with The State Room Presents, will begin on June 30, 2019, with a performance by Michael Franti & Spearhead and Ziggy Marley. Jenny Lewis, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and the John Butler Trio+ are also confirmed to perform in the resort's renowned Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater this summer.

 The 10th annual California Roots Music and Arts Festival is proud to announce their final round of artists for their milestone 2019 event. Cali Roots X will take place at the historic Monterey County Fair and Event Center from May 24-26, 2019. Adding to the already stacked lineup is Slightly Stoopid and Friends, Atmosphere, SOJA, Tash Sultana, Citizen Cope, Steel Pulse, The Movement, Jesse Royal, Ballyhoo!, Ocean Alley and For Peace Band.

Musco Center for the Arts at Chapman University presents the Elvin Bishop and Charlie Musselwhite Duo on January 27 at 4 pm. Blues Hall of Fame inductees guitarist Elvin Bishop and harmonica player Charlie Musselwhite offer a sizzling blues jam session seasoned with decades of experience.

The 10th annual California Roots Music and Arts Festival has announced their second round of artists. Making their debuts at the event are Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, UB40 feat. Ali, Astro, Kabaka Pyramid, The Elovaters, and Roots of a Rebellion. Also a special Matisyahu set performing the set list from his classic Live at Stubbsalbum rounds out the announcement. In addition, the daily breakdowns are also unfolding helping to shape the vibe for each day, leading up to one more artist announcement.

Joni Mitchell, master songsmith and storyteller, eight-time Grammy winner and folk music pioneer is the inspiration for  JONI, Morrison Hotel Gallery's upcoming photography exhibit and sale opening on Friday, November 16th   at the Sunset Marquis Hotel location in Los Angeles, the New York City gallery on Prince Street in SoHo and the gallery in Maui at Mick Fleetwood's General Store and restaurant. The exhibit will be up through December 10th.

The Blind Boys of Alabama have the rare distinction of being recognized around the world as both living legends and modern-day innovators. They are not just gospel singers borrowing from old traditions; the group helped to define those traditions in 20th century and almost single-handedly created a new gospel sound for the 21st. The group will be at the Marcus Center's Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall on Saturday, January 26 at 7:30 pm. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, November 15 at 12:00 pm.
