CATCO's presentation of the musical HEAD OVER HEELS may be the ultimate May-December romance with an age gap of nearly 400 years. The production takes Arcadia, a 16th century play written by Sir Phillip Sidney and remixes it with the music of the Go Gos, a 1980s all-girl quintet. The musical, which debuted at the Oregon Shakespearean Festival in 2015, then throws a spotlight on transgender relationships and current sexual politics.

ZACH Theatre has announced three of the 2022–23 Season productions in addition to the return of Austin’s hottest holiday tradition, Dave Steakley’s rockin’ adaption of A Christmas Carol.

KU Today reports the University of Kansas School of the Arts will begin performances of Head Over Heels on October 22. 

The cast for the Australian premiere of Head Over Heels has been announced! The Ringwald Theatre has teamed with Ferndale High School to present The Go-Go's jukebox musical Head Over Heels. Made possible by a grant from the Ferndale Community Foundation, The Ringwald will pair professional actors with high school students to perform this musical in an outdoor production at Ferndale High School's Courtyard, located at 881 Pinecrest Ferndale, MI 48220.
