Trade Practices, a new work exploring the notion of 'value' against the backdrop of the booms and busts of the past decade, is set to play October 18 - November 3. Official Opening Night is set for Tuesday, October 22 at 7:00pm. Trade Practices will take place at a site in lower Manhattan's Financial District; address to be announced.
The New York premiere of Wheeldon's full-length production of Cinderella will be performed Wednesday, October 23 at 8 pm; Thursday, October 24 at 8 pm; Friday, October 25 at 8 pm; Saturday, October 26 at 2 pm and 8 pm; and Sunday, October 27 at 2 pm. The Guthrie Theater presents the Dowling Studio's 2013-14 season opener Moon Show 143 by Minnesota-bred, Seattle-based theater and visual artist Kyle Loven. Loven's body of work combines puppetry, projections and other art forms with live actors. Nick Hubbard will direct the world premiere of this production inspired by moon myths and beliefs from around the world.

Signaling the start of the social season, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) will hold its annual Gala Concert tonight, September 7 at 8:30 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. This year's Gala will be led by BSO Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly. The concert features the band Pink Martini with vocalist Storm Large, who will collaborate with the BSO for an intoxicating mix of cabaret, samba, jazz and Hollywood musicals. National Public Radio's news correspondent Ari Shapiro, a frequent guest vocalist with Pink Martini, will perform.
