Opening tonight the 16 day spectacular features 150 performances starring more than 425 artists from Australia and worldwide all produced and presented by Adelaide Festival Centre.

Dita Von Teese is the world's most famous burlesque star and will be making her Adelaide debut in Strip, Strip Hooray on Monday 13 June in the Festival Theatre. From the moment Adelaide Cabaret Festival was on sale Dita clearly became the 'hot ticket' to secure and her show sold out in the first week! With such an overwhelming response, Adelaide Cabaret Festival is excited to announce an additional show of Strip, Strip, Hooray on Thursday 23 June at 7.30pm in the Festival Theatre. Tickets for this show will go on sale on Friday 13 May.

The September 2016-February 2017 Orange Tree Theatre season will feature the first major revivals of Caryl Churchill's Blue Heart and Somerset Maugham's last play Sheppey, as well as a new play from Zoe Cooper, the English language premiere of Roland Schimmelpfennig's Winter Solstice, and an Elinor Cook adaptation of children's story Extra Yarn.

Michael Childers' ninth annual One Night Only benefit concert, which is entitled Sondheim in Love, will be presented tonight at 6:30 PM at The McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert. Directed by Lucie Arnaz, the evening will feature musical direction by John McDaniel. The show will feature Sondheim's most romantic songs sung by a starry line-up of Broadway's most prolific musical storytellers.

The program welcomes talented performers from wide-ranging experience and backgrounds, seeking to train and hone their craft with the finest coaches and music directors in the business.
