The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre will present the divine comedy An Act of God, February 13 - March 8, with previews February 11 and 12. Due to a large advance, and the increasingly popularity of the Ellen Arnold Groff Studio Series, An Act of God is adding a week of performances, which was originally scheduled to close on March 1.
Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and piece by piece productions, in association with Rising Phoenix Repertory, will present the world premiere of Ren Dara Santiago's The Siblings Play, which marks the professional debut of the Fila-Rican playwright. Directed by Jenna Worsham (Agnes), The Siblings Play gives voice to multicultural New Yorkers, rarely seen on the stage, with breathtaking theatricality, stinging poignancy, biting humor, and deep empathy. Curio Theatre Company continues its 15th season with a beautiful love story from Ireland making its North American premiere. I a?? Alice a?? I, by Amy Conroy, is co-directed by Curio company members Gay Carducci and Rachel Gluck. Season three at the Wayward Artist kicks off 2020 exploring the idea of identity. After grounding the inaugural season in faith and exploring the meaning of family in season two, The Wayward Artist reflects on its first two seasons and explores the identity of the company as well as the intricacies of human identity in season three. Through stories of diversity, culture, adolescence, existential searching, and social media, season three stands by and pushes the boundaries of the company's mission.
