Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater are open this April with a full slate of nightly performances! 

Tony Award nominee Ann Hampton Callaway, one of the leading pop/jazz singers of our time, has created an exciting night of songs and stories in celebration of her inspiration and one of America's most beloved artists, Peggy Lee. On the heels of Ann's Streisand Songbook symphonic triumph, this show celebrates the 100th birthday of the trailblazing woman who gave the world “Fever” through six decades of iconic songs from sultry to sizzling.

Western Connecticut State University's Department of Theatre Arts will stage 'Ernest and the Pale Moon' in the university's Studio Theatre in the Visual and Performing Arts Center, 43 Lake Ave. Extension, Danbury, from April 1-10.

The Harriet Beecher Stowe Center has announced Dr. Clint Smith as the 2022 Stowe Prize winner for his New York Times bestselling book, How the Word Is Passed: A Reckoning with the History of Slavery across America (Little, Brown and Company, 2021).  This year's events will be both in-person and virtual.

Staffordshire’s New Vic Theatre have today released a first look at the production images for the world stage premiere of Marvellous - the remarkable story of Stoke City FC kit man, clown and all-round hero, Neil ‘Nello’ Baldwin.

Announced today is Millennials Are Killing Musicals, a new musical written by NAMT and Drama League Award-winner Nico Juber, which will receive an industry reading on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 11:00am and 2:00pm at Open Jar Studios, and will be presented in a public concert on Monday, April 4th at 9:30pm at Feinstein’s/54 Below.

The musical, which runs from March 11-27, is directed by one of its original stars, Hunter Foster (Broadway's Little Shop of Horrors, Million Dollar Quartet, The Producers).

The Axelrod Performing Arts Center presents its highly anticipated production of Jason Robert Brown and Marsha Norman’s musical The Bridges of Madison County this March. The production is directed by Hunter Foster who played the role of Bud Johnson in the original Broadway cast. Broadway legends Kate Baldwin and Aaron Lazar star in the respective roles of Francesca Johnson and Robert Kincaid.

FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will welcome Dan Hoy, star of the first national tour of the CATS revival, as he makes his NYC solo concert debut.
