BAZ Productions has announced its new show, The Process, opening 11 January 2020 at The Bunker. Having recently announced its forthcoming closure, The Process will be the final month-long run at the theatre. Exploring an alt-right alternative present using spoken English and BSL, The Process stars Catherine Bailey, Ralph Bogard, George Eggay, William Grint, Erin Hutching, and Jean St Clair.

A special show - Sing Me A Song a?" words & music by Michael Brown will be presented on Sunday, December 8th at 2:30pm at Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, (254 West 54th Street NYC 10019). As chart-topping multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Brian Culbertson crafts his 20th album, the aptly titled “XX” – Roman numerals representing twenty – he revealed plans for the extensive US concert tour that will support the record release. Beginning April 1 in Louisville, Kentucky, Culbertson will take an elaborately designed concert production, The XX Tour, on the road for three consecutive months, playing more than 70 shows, an extremely rare feat for a contemporary jazz artist.

 Fox Searchlight Pictures announced today that principal photography on THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE is underway in Charlotte, North Carolina. The film is written by Abe Sylvia (Dead to Me, DIRTY GIRL) and directed by Michael Showalter (THE BIG SICK; HELLO, MY NAME IS DORIS), and stars Jessica Chastain (MOLLY'S GAME, ZERO DARK THIRTY) and Andrew Garfield (HACKSAW RIDGE, SILENCE). The film is based on Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato's acclaimed 2000 documentary of the same name chronicling the dynamic ascent and subsequent demise and redemption of televangelists Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker as described by Tammy Faye herself.

The University of Southern Maine Department of Theatre season dedicated to uplifting women and women's voices takes a raw and powerful turn with The Love of the Nightingale by Timberlake Wertenbaker. The play opens Friday, November 15, followed by an opening night reception and runs through Sunday, November 24. A special a?oetalk backa?? event takes place on Thursday, November 21. All performances take place at the historic Russell Hall on the USM Gorham Campus.

Genius and jealousy collide in Folger Theatre's production of Peter Shaffer's Amadeus. Richard Clifford (Mary Stuart and The School for Scandal at Folger Theatre), directs the Tony Award-winning “Best Play” set against the backdrop of the opulent salons and opera houses of 18th-century Vienna, examining the rivalry between court composer Antonio Salieri and the boorish but brilliant Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The production features Helen Hayes Award-winner Ian Merrill Peakes (Folger Theatre's Macbeth and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead) as the tortured composer Salieri, who finds himself living in the shadow of his musical rival Mozart (Samuel Adams).
