FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents an evening of emerging songwriter, Alexander Sage Oyen's work. 

Boulder-based Local Theater Company(Local) announces selections for its eighth annual Local Lab New Play Festival taking place March 15-17 at Dairy ARTS Center, including 'Flame Broiled. or the ugly play,' by Broadway actor and Colorado resident Rodney Hicks, 'Discount Ghost Stories' by Alexander Sage Oyen and Colorado resident Jessica Kahkoska, and 'Orange Crush' by Daniel Goldstein, presented in partnership with Roundabout Theatre in New York City.

On Sunday, October 21, the company of the new Broadway musical HEAD OVER HEELS, featuring the music of The Go-Go's, celebrated 100 performances at the Hudson Theatre.  The cast was joined by Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day; American Idiot) at the post-matinee champagne toast next door at Hunt & Fish Club, with a special 'Arcadian' royal cake by Broadway baker, Cute as Cake.

SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical opened on Broadway last night, Monday, April 23, at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, 205 West 46th Street. We're taking you inside the cast's opening night party! Check out the pictures below!

September 29th marked the first show of The Late Comet, a series of late-night shows at Feinstein's/54 Below featuring cast members of Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. The Late Comet is produced by Philip Romano. The series kicked off with Celia Mei Rubin in #34andsingle, followed by Brittain Ashford on September 30th. Ars Nova presents Discount Ghost Stories: Well Worn Words as a part of ANT Fest 2017, conceived by Jessica Kahkoska and Alexander Sage Oyen, music & lyrics by Alexander Sage Oyen, adapted text and non-fiction by Jessica Kahkoska, and fiction by James Presson. Ars Nova has announced the line-up for its 10th Annual ANT Fest (June 5-29), four non-stop, throw-down weeks of live entertainment mayhem, featuring fresh material from the next wave of dynamic, indie-theater makers. All New Talent, all the time.

The 52nd Street Project makes a difference in the lives of countless Hell's Kitchen (Clinton) kids by pairing them with theater professionals who mentor them through the creation of original theater. Perhaps the most poignant presentations made by the Project are those in its semi-annual Playmaking series, which features the Project's youngest Hell's Kitchen menses - 9- and 10-year-olds who have just begun their theatrical education - writing for accomplished professional actors and revealing their work to a public audience for the first time.

Alexander Sage Oyen and Jessica Kahkoska's rock collaboration Discount Ghost Stories releases its debut album, Famous Last Words, today.

Loose, Wet, Perforated, with music and original libretto by Nicholas P. Vines, and stage direction by Austin Regan, plays for four performances: Wednesday through Saturday, September 21-24, 2016, at 8 p.m. in The Zack Box Theater at Boston Conservatory at Berklee at 8 The Fenway, Boston, MA. Guerilla Opera is all fun and games in their 10th anniversary season, featuring a new production of Loose, Wet, Perforated with music and libretto by Nicholas P. Vines in September 2016 and the world premiere of Play, the Game or Game, the Play with music and libretto by composer and theater artist Rick Burkhardt in May 2017.
