"Bridging the Gap" is a four-week course, taught by acclaimed cabaret performer Ari Axelrod and music directed by David Aaron Brown. The class focuses on educating the next generation of musical theatre performers by bridging the gap between musical theatre and the art of cabaret.

New York actor and Cabaret artist Ari Axelrod will be bringing his Cabaret act "Taking the Wheel" to the JCC on Saturday, March 24 at 8pm in support of the New Jewish Theatre. In a show that explores his personal story and Jewish journey, Axelrod will perform songs from the Molly Picon musical Milk and Honey, "Shiksa Goddess" from Jason Robert Brown's The Last 5 Years, as well as songs from Les Miz performed in Hebrew along with many others. His director for the Cabaret is Tony award winner, Actress/Singer and, Faith Prince.

Dean is ecstatic to bring you on his journey from three-year-old boy skipping around the house dressed as Dorothy to starving artist living his dream in the big city.
