Mill Mountain Theatre's upcoming 2019 season will consist of four main stage musicals on the Trinkle, three shows for Young Audiences, two productions in the Waldron Fringe Series, and two concerts in their Music Series. A brilliant balance of shows that all will enjoy.

Dick clark productions and ABC announced an all-star lineup of soul and gospel legends who will come together to pay homage to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, at the "2018 American Music Awards." Gladys Knight, Ledisi, Mary Mary, Donnie McClurkin and CeCe Winans, friends of the late, luminary singer/songwriter, will take the AMAs stage for a moving tribute honoring Franklin's gospel roots and iconic gospel album, "Amazing Grace." Consulting producer for the tribute is the Emmy Award®-winning music director, composer and producer Rickey Minor. Hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross, the "2018 American Music Awards," the world's largest fan-voted awards show, will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 8:00 p.m. EDT, on ABC.

This Fall Live @ Benaroya Hall demonstrates its commitment to supporting emerging artists with a series of four artists on the rise: Royal, Springs, Beving and Micarelli. The Live @ Benaroya Hall season continues through December and into 2019 with four added concerts: Brickman, The Tenors, The English Beat and Bowie. Tickets to those shows recently went on sale and good seats are available for all concerts in the lineup. More shows for the Spring of 2019 will be announced in late January. M Resort Spa Casino will wrap up its concert series with its final three concerts of the year. In October, multi-platinum recording artist and international superstar, Martin Nievera will take the M Pavillion stage alongside GRAMMY-winner Patti Austin for a live performance fans won't want to miss. Additionally, fans of Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer and Tina Turner can join The Queens of Soul for a tribute concert in November dedicated to these powerful female vocalists. Then to wrap up the year, guests can celebrate the holidays in December with the seven-man vocal ensemble, Naturally 7 as they perform holiday tunes in a capella.

The singer brings his Season of Peace: Holiday & Hits Tour to The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts on December 6 at 8 pm. Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts,  which brings audiences world-class theater, dance and music performed by many of the most sought-after artists,presents Chris Walden Big Band with a program that pays tribute to the "Rat Pack" era on Saturday, October 27, 2018, 7:30 pm,in the Bram Goldsmith Theater at The Wallis. Walden, a seven-time Grammy-nominated composer/arranger/conductor, has scored more than 40 feature and TV films and written more than 1,500 orchestral and big band arrangements for artists ranging from Aretha Franklin, Paul McCartney and Barbra Streisand to Diana Krall and Rihanna, among many others.

City Winery Chicago has announced that Katharine McPhee will perform on Monday, November 5th. City Winery also announced many other shows, including its annual 10,000 Maniacs Valentine's run. Finding Neverland, the enchanting Broadway musical set to soar on tour this fall, will be making its way to The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts Wednesday, January 2 - Sunday, January 6.
