BEEHIVE Concludes 60th Anniversary Season at the Finger Lakes Musical TheatreConcluding the 60th Anniversary season at the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival (FLMTF) is Beehive - The 60s Musical. The show runs September 21 through October 6 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Emerson Park.

Beehive honors the women of 1960s rock, pop and soul music - from The Shirelles to The Supremes, from Diana Ross to Aretha Franklin, from Tina Turner to Janis Joplin - this musical celebrates the talent, soul, and power of the women who characterized a decade and whose songbooks and legacies are still celebrated around the world. Reminisce with hit songs like "Where the Boys Are," "Natural Woman," "Proud Mary," "Cry Baby," "Chain of Fools," and more!

Beehive - The 60s Musical is directed and choreographed by Producing Artistic Director, Brett Smock. The show will feature Corinne Aquilina as Music Director, scenic design by David Arsenault, lighting design by Dan Ozminkowski, projection design by Brian McMullen, sound design by Ed Chapman, costume design by Tiffany Howard, and wig/makeup design by Alfonso Annotto.


Crystal Sha'nae (FLMTF: Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Parade; The Call at Arkansas Repertory Theatre) returns to the Festival along with Angela Travino (FLMTF: Anne of Green Gables: A New Folk Rock Musical, From Here to Eternity; National Tour: South Pacific; From Here to Eternity at Ogunquit Playhouse). Abigail Raye (National Tour: Monty Python's Spamalot; Beehive - The 60s Musical at Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre; Legally Blonde at Arizona Broadway Theatre), Emily Lynne Miller (West End: Savage, An Evening with Webborn & Finn; Beehive - The 60s Musical at Pennsylvania Centre Stage) and Brittney Mack (National tour: Memphis; Off-Broadway: Black Nativity Now; Beehive - The 60s Musical at Phoenix Theatre) makes their festival debuts. Rounding out the cast are Khalifa White (Aida at Slow Burn Theatre Co.; Hairspray at Maltz Jupiter Theatre), Alison Morooney (National tour: Nice Work if You Can Get It, American Idiot), and Quiana Holmes (National Tour: Motown the Musical)
