Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater has revealed the cast and creative team for The Age of Innocence. See who is starring in the production and learn how to purchase tickets.

Tony Award-nominated (The King and I; Anastasia) and Obie Award-winning actor/soprano Mary Beth Peil and actor Peter Von Berg (American Globe Theatre: Romeo and Juliet; Othello; American Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford, Kennedy Center: Richard III) will be gracing the Guild Hall Zoom with Carol Rocamora's short play based on the 412 love letters of Russian playwright Anton Chekhov and his famous actress wife, Olga Knipper.

The Episcopal Actors' Guild (EAG) presents a one-night-only online benefit reading of Richard Alleman's award-winning dystopian drama Adrift, June 11, at 7:00 P.M. (EDT).

'A Blanket of Dust' is the story of a modern day Antigone.  The daughter of a U.S. Senator seeks justice for her husband, who has died in the World Trade Center. Her ordeal drives her to the outer fringes of society.  After struggling to establish facts that the government, the media, her family and her countrymen deny, she protests with a harrowing act of sacrificial tragedy.  The play's world premiere will be presented Off-Broadway by Delphi Film from June 6 to 30 at The Flea Theater Mainstage,  20 Thomas Street, directed by Chris Murrah.

As BroadwayWorld sadly reported yesterday, Broadway star Jan Maxwell passed away at 61 years of age after a battle with cancer. The star is survived by her husband, actor/playwright Robert Emmet Lunney, and their son William Maxwell-Lunney.

Adapted and directed by Icke and Macmillan, 1984 officially arrives in New York this evening on the heels of four wildly successful U.K. runs. The strictly limited engagement began performances on May 18, 2017, and opened last night on Broadway at the new Hudson Theatre. Check out photos from the opening night celebration below!

Center Stage announces the cast and creative team of Pride and Prejudice, the first show of its 2015/16 Season. The play begins performances Sept. 11, with opening night set for Sept. 18.
