An idea that came out of the pandemic quarantine is now a movement that will (and should) continue to grow and change lives.

It would appear that acclaimed baritone Sidney Outlaw is having the busiest year of his career. In addition to starring as composer Antonio Salieri in Opera San José’s new virtual production of Rimsky-Korsakov’s 'Mozart and Salieri,' Outlaw will be performing 'Barber of Seville,' 'Porgy and Bess,' and 'La Bohème.' Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is making its way to Hagerstown Maryland. Authentic Community Theatre, known for putting on Broadway level performances at the historic Maryland Theatre, will present Sweeney Todd October 22 and 23.

The York Theatre Company has announced the continuation of its 50th Anniversary Season at its new temporary home at The Theatre at St. Jean’s. Following a devastating flood due to a water main break in January 2021 at its home at Saint Peter’s Church, the company will temporarily relocate to The Theatre at St. Jean’s.
