In response to the recent massacres in Buffalo and Uvalde, producer and director Charlotte Cohn will present a free one-night-only reading of Church & State, the award-winning play by Jason Odell Williams, to benefit Sandy Hook Promise, Safer Country, and the Brady Campaign.

New York Theatre Workshop just celebrated opening night of Endlings, which will play for a limited run through Sunday, March 29, 2020. Endlings is written by Celine Song (Tom & Eliza) and will be directed by Sammi Cannold (Evita at City Center).

Berkshire Theatre Group (Kate Maguire, Artistic Director/CEO) kicks-off it's milestone 90thAnniversary Season with theprovocative and humorous play Church & State by Jason Odell Williams (Handle With Care). Directed by Charlotte Cohn (founding producer of the New York Music Theatre Festival and Mainstreet Musicals), the four-member cast features Judy Jerome (Two By Tennessee) as Sara Whitmore, Keira Naughton (The Rivals; BTG: I Saw My Neighbor on the Train and I Didn't Even Smile) as Alex Klein, Graham Rowat (Meteor Shower; BTG: Arsenic and Old Lace)as Senator Charles Whitmore, and Andy Talen (The Tempest) as Tom/Marshall/Reporter/Security Guy. Performances begin Thursday, June 14, 2018 for a limited run through Saturday, June 30, 2018 at The Unicorn Theatre, The Larry Viber Stage (6 East Street) in Stockbridge, MA. Opening night is Saturday, June 16 at 8:00 p.m.

Lautenberg, in association with NewYorkRep, announced today that Church & State, the critically acclaimed play by Jason Odell Williams, a 'BEST PLAY' nominee from the Off Broadway Alliance, will play its final performance Sunday, June 4 at 7:30 p.m. Directed by Markus Potter (Stalking the Bogeyman), Church & State is currently running at New World Stages (340 W. 50th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenues).  At the time of closing, Church & State will have played 29 previews and 81 regular performances.

Lead producer Charlotte Cohn will present a staged reading of  Jason Odell Williams' new play, Church & State, for one night only on Monday, April 4th at 7pm at The Cell Theatre (338 W 23rd Street). Proceeds from the reading will benefit Sandy Hook Promise. Ian Kahn ("George Washington" on AMC's Turn, Hard Love, Enron) will lead the cast, which also includes Beth Hylton, Judy Jerome, and Andy Talen.  Gregg Wiggans directs (TV's Smash). Celebrating eleven years and thousands of nominees, the New York Innovative Theatre awards took place at Mason Hall at Baruch Performing Arts Center.

In MOTHER COURAGE AND HER CHILDREN, Olympia Dukakis delivers a searing performance in its title role. Considered by many to be one of the greatest plays of the 20th century, MOTHER COURAGE AND HER CHILDREN is set against the backdrop of the Thirty Years War of the seventeenth century. The play follows the fate of Mother Courage, an artful canteen woman with the Swedish Army, intent on keeping her business and family alive amidst the destruction of war. Written by Bertolt Brecht, directed by Artistic Director Tony Simotes and starring Academy Award-winner Olympia Dukakis, this play still resonates today providing a profound insight into the moral implications of war. MOTHER COURAGE AND HER WOMEN runs tonight, July 26 - August 25, in S&Co.'s Tina Packer Playhouse.
