SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young has announced that Paul Rudd’s 9th Annual All-Star Bowling Benefit will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 7:00pm. The event, which raises funds in support of SAY’s life-changing programming for young people who stutter, will take place at Bowlero Chelsea Piers in New York City.

Chelsea Table and Stage will present THE VIOLET HOUR: A Planned Parenthood Benefit Concert, on Wednesday September 28th at 9:30pm. This 60 minute concert features the talents of Broadway performers and notable Pop/Rock Musicians and will raise funds and awareness for affordable and accessible reproductive healthcare.

Joining the company on September 6 are Stephanie J. Barrington Stage Company has announced it is the recipient of a $100,000 grant from The Shubert Foundation. The Shubert Foundation has announced $37.6 million in unrestricted grants to 609 not-for-profit theaters, dance companies, academic theater training programs, and related service agencies.

To raise awareness about canines with cancer,  Billy Porter, and Broadway stars from “Jersey Boys,” “Hamilton,” and “Funny Girl” rallied with their dogs to film “It Had to be You” for Take C.H.A.R.G.E (Canine Health and ReGistry Exchange). 

Attendees of Family Equality’s Night at the Pier enjoyed a moving program produced by Academy Award winner,Bruce Cohen, which included show-stopping performances by 2022 Tony nominees Michael R. Jackson (A Strange Loop), the cast of SIX, Shoshana Bean (Mr. Saturday Night), and three-time Tony winner, Jason Robert Brown.

Just last night, MCC Theater celebrated the opening of the World Premiere of Which Way to the Stage by Ana Nogueira (Empathitrax) and directed by Mike Donahue (MCC's Collective Rage). Previously titled Here She Is, Boys, Which Way to the Stage will run through May 22 at the Newman Mills Theater at MCC Theater.

Rosie’s Theater Kids returned to the stage to honor CBS President and CEO George Cheeks and Broadway producers Cathy and Elliott Masie (The Prom) at this year’s Passing It On Gala, an evening of performances celebrating mentorship.

Stars in the House for Ukraine, an 11+ Hour telethon of the weekly streaming show, raised $139,000 for the International Rescue Committee's humanitarian efforts for those affected by the war in Ukraine. That total is inclusive of a generous matching donation by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, which matched the first $50,000 worth of donations.
