For the 8th year in a row, Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis will present the World Premiere of arguably Indy's most original and entertaining holiday offering: A Very Phoenix Xmas. This year's subtitle is Angels We Have Heard While High. 'I always ask the staff and cast for ideas for the subtitle and we get lots of great ones each year. The winning one this year comes with a great graphic - and we think it represents our edgy approach to the holidays. (click here to see the image.)

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) and Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corporation (PARC) kick off the holiday's with the annual Tree Lighting Party at the Singing Fountain (Tasker and EPA) on Thursday, December 5, 2013, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

The five-time Tony Award-winning "Peter and the Starcatcher" opens December 4, 2013, at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre at the Los Angeles Music Center (preview December 3). Written by Tony Award-nominee Rick Elice ("Jersey Boys," "The Addams Family") and directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Tony Award-nominee Alex Timbers ("Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson"), "Peter and the Starcatcher" continues through January 12, 2014.

Stage Entertainment USA and Sylvester Stallone jsut announced complete casting for the upcoming musical, ROCKY. The previously announced cast members, Andy Karl (Rocky), Margo Seibert (Adrian), Terence Archie (Apollo Creed), Dakin Matthews (Mickey) and Danny Mastrogiorgio (Paulie) welcome principal Jennifer Mudge, who will play Gloria, the girlfriend of Paulie, Adrian's brother.

The New Orleans Hotel Collection has announced a special three-night package to commemorate the famous 'Battle of New Orleans.' The Battle of New Orleans was fought just downriver from the city on January 8, 1815 and served to confirm an important victory against a vastly superior force for the United States in the War of 1812.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) will present The Three Musketeers, a dapted by Linda Alper, Douglas Langworthy and Penny Metropulos from the novel by Alexandre Dumas, November 21- December 8 in the Harriet S.
