Artistic directors from eight international theater companies – representing Palestine, Russia, Pakistan, Singapore, Germany, US and Ukraine – will lead workshops for directors at La MaMa's 24th Annual International Symposium in Spoleto, Umbria, with residencies July 10 to August 8, 2023, it has been announced by David J. Diamond, Curator of La MaMa Umbria International, an essential program for experimental theater artists since 1990.

The Royal Opera House has announced that, this March, audiences across the globe will be able to watch Giacomo Puccini's final opera Turandot on the big screen. On Wednesday 22 March 2023, Andrei Serban's classic production will be broadcast live to 956 cinemas in 22 countries across the world.

From February 2 to 19, 2023 La MaMa will present the world premiere of Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre's puppet version of 'Audience' by Václav Havel, translated and directed by Vít Horejš.
