Two of Broadway's most endearing leading ladies-Andrea McArdle and Donna McKechnie-celebrate two of America's most beloved musical theatre composers-Stephen Sondheim and Marvin Hamlisch-at Feinstein's at the Nikko on Friday, January 18 (8 p.m.) and Saturday, January 19 (8 p.m.).

Earlier today, Tony nominee Charles Busch (New Year's Eve with Charles Busch & Friends: December 31); Tony nominee Norm Lewis (Nutcraker Cool: December 17-22); and Tony nominee Andrea McArdle (Andrea McArdle & Donna Mckechnie Celebrate Sondheim & Hamlisch: January 1-5) previewed their upcoming shows at Feinstein's/54 Below.

Live At the Orinda concert series, currently in its debut season of presenting world-renowned musical artists at the beautiful art-deco Orinda Theatre, announces the first half of their 2019 Season. This will also mark their One Year Anniversary Season. The season kicks off on Saturday, January 19, 2019 with legendary actor/singer Rita Moreno in her first Bay Area concert in many years, followed by a matinee performance on Sunday, January 20, 2019. The opening weekend performances will also serve as a fundraiser for the historic Orinda Movie Theatre to purchase permanent concert lighting for the venue to enhance the live music experience even further.

Andrea McArdle and Donna McKechnie, two of Broadways most endearing leading ladies, who starred in two of Broadway's most iconic shows (Annie and A Chorus Line) bring their ever vibrant talent and personal connection to this celebration of two of Americas most beloved musical theatre composers: Stephen Sondheim and Marvin Hamlisch.

Emmy-nominated director, choreographer, and educator Al Blackstone is revisiting his NJ roots to direct and choreograph the Axlerod PAC's production of "Annie, the Musical," starring Andrea McArdle, Broadway's original Annie, in the role of Miss Hannigan. 

Leapin' lizards! 'Annie' is coming to the Jersey Shore! Broadway's original Annie, Andrea McArdle, will grace the Axelrod stage as Miss Hannigan from November 2-18. This new production of 'Annie' is directed and choreographed by New Jersey native Al Blackstone, whose career started on Broadway in 'Wicked' and then moved to FOX's 'So You Think You Can Dance,' for which he received a 2018 Emmy Award nomination.

The ever popular Laura Hodos will take the cabaret stage to premiere her latest solo cabaret, By The Light Of The Silvery Screen, in The Spotlight Cabaret Series at The Winter Park Playhouse November 7 and 8, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. Playhouse Musical Director, Christopher Leavy, will accompany on piano.

The Broadway community will celebrate the life of Thomas Meehan on Monday, November 5th at 2:00 PM at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street).

Last night was the annual Best in Shows benefit concert for the Humane Society. The show featured some of Broadway's best, with special guest appearances by adorable four-legged friends. 2018 Best in Shows, presented by Dorothy and Bill Berloni, also honored Sirius XM radio host Seth Rudetsky.
