The BROADWAY SINGS concert series will present its 10th show this February with Broadway Sings Billy Joel. A cast of 20 Broadway stars, including Corey Cott, Lilla Crawford, and Betsy Wolfe, will sing completely new arrangements of the Piano Man's greatest hits. The performers will be accompanied by a jazz orchestra playing original orchestrations. Previous artists honored in the series include Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, and Sara Bareilles.

A slew of Broadway performers are set for the next installment of the 'Broadway Sings' concert series honoring Sara Bareilles. A cast of 20 Broadway stars will sing completely new arrangements of the singer-songwriter's greatest hits, including cast members from the pre-Broadway run of Bareilles' musical Waitress at American Repertory Theatre. The performers will be accompanied by a string orchestra playing original orchestrations, tonight, November 2, at the Highline Ballroom.

On October 25th the popular Broadway Understudies twitter account (@understudies) has once again invited some of Broadway's most talented understudies to the stage of the Laurie Beechman Theatre to share their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. They'll be thrown into the fire in the 6th edition of 'Half Hour: A Last Minute Concert,' a show where even they don't know what they'll be singing before they step up to the microphone. The audience will get to vote on what song each performer will sing.

On Thursday, September 24th, the National YoungArtsFoundation (YoungArts) kicked off their 2015-2016 season with the second annual YoungArts Awareness Day, a national campaign to encourage young artists to pursue their dreams of becoming professional artists and to show that #becauseofyoungarts, artists ages 15 to 18 years are able to take the next steps toward achieving their goals and building a strong professional network including award-winning and acclaimed alumni. This year's celebration included a series of public events in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. Initial performers have been announced for the next installment of the Broadway Sings concert series at the Highline Ballroom. Broadway Sings Sara Bareilles will feature Finding Neverland star Laura Michelle Kelly, Alysha Umphress from On the Town, Beautiful's Jessica Keenan Wynn, and Drew Gehling, currently starring in Bareilles' Broadway-Bound musical Waitress at American Repertory Theatre. A cast of 15 Broadway stars will sing completely new arrangements of the singer-songwriter's greatest hits, accompanied by a string orchestra playing original orchestrations. Previous shows in the series included Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, and P!NK.
