Two weeks before starting rehearsals for its big spring musical, the Springer Opera House has decided to postpone the opening of its Tony Award-winning production of The Color Purple until June.
Dance Films Association and Film at Lincoln Center announced today the complete lineup for the 50th edition of the Dance on Camera Festival, running February 11-14, 2022. Leicester Curve has released an official statement, revealing that Seyi Omooba's claims of religious discrimination were rejected by an employment tribunal. Omooba took legal action against Curve after being dismissed from a production of The Color Purple for posts on social media that were deemed homophobic.
