Craft Your Truth, an organization that encourages and empowers LGBTQ youth to share their unique stories, is partnering with local NYC nonprofit New Alternatives for a day-long workshop culminating in a fundraising benefit performance. New Alternatives provides a range of services designed to help LGBTQ+ youth succeed in transitioning to stable adult lives and welcomes all youth as they are with no barriers to entry. For this event, Craft Your Truth is excited to be teaming up with Caveat, a Lower East Side venue dedicated to intelligent nightlife.

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Women of the Wings: A Celebration of Female Musical Theatre Writers on August 4th at 9:30pm. Shaunice Alexander, who has just joined the lineup, is a singer, actor, dancer and native New Yorker who was most recently the Sarah / Sarah's Friend cover in Park Playhouse's production of production of Ragtime.

What do you get when you cross Mad Libs with Clue, add a group of theatre vets, and sprinkle in a dash of philanthropy? Why, it must be VILLAIN: DEBLANKS! The comedy event, held at Feinstein's/54 Below, served as a benefit for the ACLU, with Billy Mitchell, who wrote the skeleton script for the show, serving as the night's emcee.

297965After a sold out performance in March, Villain: DeBlanks revisited Feinstein's/54 Below with an encore benefit to support the ACLU. Starring Bebe Neuwirth, Tony Sheldon, Brenda Braxton, Stephen Wallem, Dale Soules and Ben Rimalower, the event on May 31 was full of hijnks and shenanigans -- supporting a great cause.
