Today, April 29, Philadelphia Music Theater Works has announced full casting for the musical SIDE SHOW. They will present a stage reading - modeled after New York's City Center Encores - of Bill Russell and Henry Kreiger's play; July 1-3, 2010. Philly Music Theater Works' mounting of the Broadway musical will be its Philadelphia regional premiere.

This musical will run April 9-May 2 at the Independence Black Box at the Prince Music Theater, 1412 Chestnut Street. The show opens on Thursday, April 15. 11th Hour Theatre Company is only the second theatre in the country to be given the rights to present Rooms after its successful Off-Broadway run at New World Stages in 2009.

ROOMS a rock romance begins when Monica, an ambitious singer/songwriter and Ian, a reclusive rocker, meet in Glasgow in the late 1970s. The fundraiser 'Over the Rainbow Cabaret' was held recently and raised over $7000.00 for the underfunded arts program at the Pollock Elementary School in urban Philadelphia.
