Red Branch Theatre Company Closes PROOF 7/17

By:

David Auburn's Pulitzer Prize winning play Proof is presented by Red Branch Theatre Company July 8-18. Red Branch has recently been acclaimed by BroadwayWorld.com as "one of the most consistently excellent theatres in the region..."

Directed by Jennifer Spieler, this play focuses on Catherine, struggling with her famous mathematician father's death. She clashes with both her sister Claire and dad's former graduate student Hal, who wants to find valuable work up in dad's office. When a hidden mathematical proof is discovered, Catherine claims ownership - is she a genius like her father? Will she succumb to madness, like he did, or is she capable of finding her own place in the world, to find a life beyond being dad's caretaker?
