'Over the Rainbow Cabaret' Fundraiser Raises Over $7000 for Arts Program

The fundraiser "Over the Rainbow Cabaret" was held recently and raised over $7000.00 for the underfunded arts program at the Pollock Elementary School in urban Philadelphia.

Emma Hunton (SPRING AWAKENING) and Ashley Kate Adams (GAY BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN) sang "Here Comes the Rain Again" from Gay Bride of Frankenstein. Also featured at the event were Katie O'Shaughnessey (AEA, CATS at Walnut Street Theatre and current Philadelphia school teacher), Kim Carson (AEA, Barrymore Award winner, recently seen as Dorothy in Media Theater's WIZARD OF OZ ), Mike O Brien (AEA, Barrymore Award winner), Steve Pacek (AEA), Jeff Coon (AEA, Multiple Barrymore Award Winner), Billy Butler (AEA, multiple New Hampshire Theater Awards winner, book/lyrics Gay Bride of Frankenstein which will make its regional premiere fall 2010), Alex Keiper (AEA), Tim Hill (AEA), Noah Mazaika (AEA, currently in the world premiere of the ECLECTIC SOCIETY at the Walnut Street Theatre), Colleen Hazlett (AEA), Jenna Angeloni, Lauren Williams, Jenna Bracciale and Michael Woodard (sang for President Obama and at the U.S. Mens Open Finals).
