4th Wall Theatre Presents NEXT FALL, Now thru 3/15

4th Wall Theatre, a non-union professional theatre in Bloomfield, NJ is presenting Next Fall, tonight, Mar. 7-15, which had its Broadway premiere in February 2010 at the Helen Hayes Theater. The show will be directed by Gwen Ricks-Spencer, Executive Director of 4th Wall.

Irvington Town Hall Theater to Present NEXT FALL, 3/7-8

Irvington Town Hall Theater will present 4th Wall Theatre's production of NEXT FALL for two performances on March 7 & 8. The play goes beyond the typical love story to explore what it means to believe and what it might cost us not to. The play is about two gay men in a committed relationship in which one is devoutly religious and the other is an atheist. The play revolves around their five-year relationship and how they make it work despite their differences. However, when an accident changes everything, Adam must turn to Luke's family for support and answers.

Barn Theatre's YANKEE TAVERN to Open in January

The Barn Theatre of Montville, NJ will be presenting the play 'Yankee Tavern' written by Stephen Dietz and directed by Jeff Knapp. Performances will be on January 16, 24, 30, 31, February 6 and 7 at 8pm; and on January 17, 18, 25, and February 1st at 2pm. Tickets are $18 (senior/student tickets are $16 on matinees only).

A CHRISTMAS STORY to Play Barn Theatre, Begin. 11.21

The Barn Theatre of Montville, New Jersey will be presenting 'A Christmas Story the Musical'. Performances will be on November 21, 28, 29, December 5, 6, 12, 13 at 8pm; and on November 22, 23, 30, December 7 at 2pm. Tickets are $24 (senior/student tickets are $22 on matinees only).

Natalie Toro, NJ Youths Celebrate Cinco de Mayo Tomorrow, 5/5

Latina Broadway star Natalie Toro, best known for originating the role of Madame Therese Defarge in Jill Santoriello's stage adaptation of 'A Tale of Two Cities,' a novel by Charles Dickens, and for playing the tragic heroine Eponine in Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil's stage adaptation of 'Les Miserables,' a novel by Victor Hugo, will join the young students at Collective Youth Theatre Company, an educational program of Jersey Arts Collective, to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, a festival of Mexican heritage and pride, via a concert at Westminster Arts Center tomorrow, May 5, at 3 p.m.

The Center Players of Bayonne Present HAIR in May

The Center Players of Bayonne have assembled Tribe members that are gearing up and preparing a theatrical presentation of HAIR: The Rock Musical at the JCC of Bayonne. Lyrics are by James Rado & Gerome Ragni, Music by Galt MacDermot. The production is Directed and Choreographed by Alex Perez (De La Guarda, Ultimate Drag Off, Oz) and Musical Direction by Luisa Sauter. The performance will be presented in full including the wonderful hits of the 1960's rock era including 'Let the Sunshine In', 'Aquarius', 'Easy to be Hard', 'Donna' and the title song 'Hair'.
