The next Waitress London Cast Album Karaoke Night will be held on Wednesday 10 April, hosts to be announced. Audience members can sign up before the show for the chance to sing one minute of any song from Waitress - live on stage at the Adelphi and accompanied by the show's musical director Katharine Woolley.

It's official! Tony Award nominee Jeremy Jordan will take over the role of Dr. Pomatter on April 8 and will perform opposite Shoshana Bean as Jenna through May 12. As previously announced, Joey McIntyre will play his final performances on April 7.
Waitress has released a not-so-subtle clue as to who its next Dr. Pomatter is! The show's Twitter account posted an audio snippet, asking the fans if they can guess the next Pomatter. The audio is of Jeremy Jordan singing She Used To Be Mine.

The hosts of the next Waitress London Cast Album Karaoke Night have been announced today. 30 Rock star Jack McBrayer, who has made his West End debut as Ogie in the show, will host the post-show event alongside Heart Breakfast presenter Lucy Horobin on Monday 18 March. Broadway Grand Rapids announces WAITRESS, the national Broadway tour coming to Grand Rapids in April 2019, will conduct a local search for the most creative pie recipe, like Jenna's signature pies. As pie is a key ingredient to the storytelling of the show, we are seeking creative pie recipes that mimic Jenna's whimsical recipes. Bakers may submit their most creative, whimsical pie recipe-the kind of recipe that expresses your hopes, dreams, fears or frustrations, something baked right from the heart. The top three finalist recipes will be chosen and notified on Friday, April 19. Celebrity judges will choose the winning recipe during a taste-testing conducted on EightWest on WOOD TV, Thursday, April 25. The Grand Prize winner's recipe will be featured as an insert in the official WAITRESS cookbook. The winner will also be featured on the Broadway Grand Rapids social channels and WAITRESS social channels as well as receive 4 tickets to opening night on Tuesday, April 30.
"Sugar. Butter. Flour" Waitress! Waitress has arrived at the Times Union and is blowing audiences away. The musical, based on Adrienne Shelley's movie of the same name, follows Jenna, a waitress at a small diner who is stuck in a loveless marriage. Jenna finds herself pregnant and is convinced it is time to chase her own dreams and build a better life for her and her unborn child. First, she must save enough money waitressing at the diner. Jenna meets her doctor, Dr. Pomatter, and things become very complicated. Waitress is filled with laughter, emotion, heartbreak, and pies!
Jessie Nelson penned the book of the musical, which is based on Adrienne Shelly's 2007 film. With the show now playing to audiences around the world, Jessie discusses honouring and adapting Shelly's story for the stage, and how audiences have responded.
