On Thursday, June 21, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, Deputy Borough President Sandra Chapman and the Caribbean-American Heritage Month Committee hosted the 7th annual Caribbean-American Heritage Month festivities at Brooklyn Borough Hall. Events of the day included music and dance performances, a marketplace, film screenings, an economic development power brunch and a tasting of Caribbean food.
