Ralston Hill was a prolific stage actor, best known for his role as Secretary Charles Thomson in the Broadway musical and film versions of "1776". He died of a heart attack on October 19, 1996 while on stage rehearsing for the musical, "Gigi" at the Papermill Playhouse in New Jersey. He was 69 years old.
