Patrick Smyth BIO

Training: Patrick is originally from Belfast, and graduated from the musical theatre course at the Royal Academy of Music in 2009.



Theatre includes: his West End debut in Hair (original Broadway revival cast London transfer, Gielgud), Shoes the Musical (Peacock), Thursford Christmas Spectacular, Ignition (Actors Centre), A Bushel and a Peck (Jermyn Street) and Oh What a Lovely War and Anything Goes (Grand Opera House, Belfast).

Concerts include: featured soloist at Elton John in concert with Ray Cooper, The Night of 1000 Voices 2010, ABBAphonic with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (Royal Albert Hall) and Fast Forward 3 (NT, Capital Voices). Most recently, Patrick returned from a summer tour with the acappella group The Magnets (Australia, Asia and Glastonbury).

Television includes: featured artist in the T-Mobile Welcome Back campaign at Heathrow Airport, backing choir for Britain’s Got Talent (semi-fi nals 2010 and 2011) and Spicks and Specks (Australia).

DISTANCED Returns For Season 2


Following on from the huge success of the Award Nominated first series, Distanced. is back with Distanced 2. which will again examine people's lives as they continue to navigate the pandemic.

Following the announcement in the Summer of 2011 that Dress Circle may be faced with closer for financial reasons, STANDING OVATION was produced by Danny Davies of Pirate Management over the month that followed. Comprising works from artists and songwriters who share in the concerns for Dress Circle`s future, this CD is a tribute to the shop, and it is hoped that it may contribute in some way to the positive future. The album will be released on August 17 and can be purchased here.
