Jemima Rooper to Feature in First New Musicals Network SNAPPY TITLE SPOTLIGHT Concert Series

New Musicals Network (NMN) are proud to announce three exciting concerts coming up soon under the generic title Snappy Title Spotlight.

All the concerts are on Sundays at The Pheasantry, King's Road, Chelsea, at 8.00pm Tickets are £15

On 16th October Jemima Rooper (Blithe Spirit, Hand to God, Me and My Girl, TV's Famous Five, Hex, Lost in Austen, Atlantis) leads the cast in Britannia Rules The Stage. This charity concert in aid of The Alzheimer's Society will be a celebration of British musicals old and new, and will contain songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Elton John, Stiles and Drewe, Pippa Cleary and Jake Brunger, Howard Goodall, and others. Other cast members include Will Barratt (War of the Worlds, Jesus Christ Superstar, Jersey Boys, Phantom of the Opera), Sharan Phull (Bend It Like Beckham), Jessica Singer (Rent, Tick Tick Boom, Cinderella) and Imogen Gurney (The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Billy Elliot, The Sound of Music)

23rd October is an evening devoted to the songs of Stiles and Drewe prizewinner Mark Allcorn. With influences such as Tim Minchin, Marvin Hamlisch, Randy Newman and Robert Lopez, Mark introduces us to an eclectic mix of cabaret, comedy and musical theatre songs. His music has been performed in numerous London cabarets and showcases over the last few years and with 3 musicals and 2 albums to his name, finally we have an opportunity to hear an evening dedicated to his music.

Cast includes Will Barratt, Alex Young (Showboat, High Society, I Can't Sing - The X Factor Musical), Jordan Langford (Frozen - Disneyland Paris, Snappy Title Making History, The Music of Joe Louis Robinson), Laura Kaye Thomson (Poppies, Artistic Director of Music Box Theatre) , Nathan Lodge (The Songbook of Stephen Schwartz, A Magical Night of Disney), Laura Johnson and Dave O'Mahony (Beautiful).

And finally, on 20th November there will be the chance to hear a collection of songs by Mark Goldthorp. Mark, of course, is a highly respected actor and musician, and has appeared on the West End stage (Avenue Q, Sunset Boulevard, Matilda) and on TV (My Family, Sarah Jane Adventures). Mark is also a prolific composer of songs and musicals and this evening is a rare treat - a chance to hear the best of his output performed by a wonderful cast of performers, featuring Dianne Pilkington (Les Miserables, Wicked, Mamma Mia), Caroline Sheen (Les Miserables, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins, TV's Hotel Babylon, Torchwood), Alice Fearn (Wicked, Shrek the Musical, Into the Woods), Matt Harrop (Les Miserables, Betty Blue Eyes) Martin Neely (Les Miserables, Scooby Doo, Merrily We Roll Along, The Music of Burt Bacharach), Tim Rogers (Jesus Christ Superstar, Carousel) and Patrick Smyth (Phantom of the Opera, We Will Rock You, TV's Strictly Come Dancing) .
