CATCO's presentation of the musical HEAD OVER HEELS may be the ultimate May-December romance with an age gap of nearly 400 years. The production takes Arcadia, a 16th century play written by Sir Phillip Sidney and remixes it with the music of the Go Gos, a 1980s all-girl quintet. It is one of seven Arizona-based preliminary pageants sanctioned by the Miss Gay America pageant and is the first to be held in Phoenix's iconic and historic Woodlea Melrose neighborhood. Stacy's @ Melrose is located at 4343 North 7th Avenue. All fundraising efforts for the pageant are donated to RipplePHX, a back-to-grass-roots project created for our LGBTQ Community to address today's HIV virus through impact-focused splashes of awareness, love, and celebrations of individual sexual expression.
