'Rube!' a play that sold out two Orange County theaters in its first two runs in 2003 and 2004-and was featured by the sports columnists for both the Orange County Register and The Los Angeles Times-- returns for a third time - at the Brea Curtis Theatre for three weekends, Sept. 13-29.

The Sacred Fools Theater Company is kicking off its 22nd Season with Burglars of Hamm for a remount of the award-winning Resa Fantastiskt Mystisk. Resa was recently produced at this year's Hollywood Fringe Festival where it took home Top of the Fringe honors. The first Mainstage show of the Sacred Fools season, Resa opens Friday, October 5 and runs through Saturday, November 3 with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 7pm. The show will be performed in the Main Stage Theater of the Broadwater Theater Complex.

As the landmark American musical FIDDLER ON THE ROOF celebrates its 50th anniversary, Arena Stage is bringing the show to audiences new and old in production on the intimate and iconic Fichlander Stage. Arena's artistic director Molly Smith directs the production which features the original Jerome Robbins choreography adapted and restaged by Parker Esse. Beginning today, July 8, the exhibition LEGENDS OF THE DEAD BALL ERA (1900-1919) in the Collection of Jefferson R. Burdick, on view at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, will feature nearly 600 historical trade cards of baseball greats from the time. The exhibition will run until December 1 and will be located in the The Henry R. Luce Center for the Study of American Art, The American Wing, mezzanine.
