United Solo, the world’s largest solo theatre festival, will open its 15th season at New York City’s Theatre Row on September 26, 2023, with a performance of two-time Lambda Literary Award Finalist Letty Neely’s play, “Pulling It All Into the Current.” Running through November 19, 2023, the festival features daily performances of a diverse group of shows from around the world.

Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT) is kicking off their 30th anniversary season by changing the name of their bi-annual New Work Series to Spark Theatre Festival NYC. The company will also return to premiering new works Off-Broadway in Fall 2023.

The Doormen, an original musical, will play for three performances at Teatro LATEA as part of the New York Theatre Festival. Victor Verhaeghe and Joe Boover co-wrote the book and lyrics, with music by Joe Boover and Jason Cohen.

Paula is an actress, singer and voice over artist, who moved to New York in October 2016 to study at the New York Film Academy Acting Conservatory. Since moving to the city, she's been involved in different areas of film, theatre, music and voice acting.

Royal Family Productions (Chris Henry, Artistic Director), a Times Square-based non-profit theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, has announced their 2020 spring season.

The new rock musical, We Are Ameena, will hold an invitation-only, developmental reading, March 28th & 29th, that features award winning actor of stage and screen Harsh Nayyar (A Meeting by the River, An Ordinary Muslim, Gandhi, Hidalgo), alongside Aladdin's Trent Saunders, Stephanie Gibson (Cinderella, Charlie and the Chocolate Factor, The Adams Family), Samantha Gershman (Jekyll & Hyde tour), and Victor Verhaeghe (Boardwalk Empire).

Today, Americana band The High Plains Drifters have premiered the music video for their debut single 'Virginia,' a classic rock track about longing to reignite the spark with an old flame. PRESS HERE to watch. Check out the first look on Stage Right Secrets. The colorful music video for 'Virginia' is directed by Gabriel Barreto and stars Victor Verhaeghe (Bridge Of Spies, Peel, The Americans, The Night Of). Verhaeghe plays a distraught pastor looking for his 'Virginia,' the girl that got away. 

See 'Closure' at New Jersey Repertory Company through July 19th. Written by Richard Dresser and directed by Joe Cacini, this fascinating mystery has stars Wendy Malik, Victor Verhaeghe, Gary Cole and Biniam Tekola.

Royal Family Productionswill begin the 2014-15 season with their Emerging Artist Program, with a benefit presentation of Cheesecake Girl, with music and lyrics by Genya Ravan, book and direction by RFP's Chris Henry and musical direction by Daniel A Weiss. Royal Family Productions to present a stage reading of Daniel Kwiatkowski's play BED, directed by Chris Henry. Starring Kathleen Chalfant (Angles in America, Wit) and Victor Verhaeghe ("Boardwalk Empire") , the reading will take place on April 15 at 6PM at St. Michael's Recital Hall (225 W 99th Street, 2nd Floor) and is FREE to the public. Rough&Ready Productions announces their March show of new works, "Music, Meds, Morning Wood, and Other Reasons to Go On Living", taking place Monday March 4th, 7PM. Rough&Ready is a monthly series featuring some of NYC's most talented new voices in staged readings of plays, screenplays, selections from novels, short stories, and usually a song or two.

Ultimately, this was a series of hits and misses. Half the characters and plot points weren't really needed. Nonetheless, when you boil it down, "Pratfalls" is a great relationship piece. "Pratfalls" is presented by Ground Up Productions at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex's Dorothy Strelsin Theatre, 312 W. 36th St., NYC. The show runs now through May 19.
