The Flea Theater hosted a Mac Wellman Symposium: THE ART OF STACKING THE DECK October 4-6, 2019. The three-day symposium was a rare opportunity for Wellman enthusiasts to gather to share stories and dig deep into the mysteries of Wellman's writing.

Provocateur Thomas Bradshaw revisits his incendiary 2008 play SOUTHERN PROMISES in a new production helmed by The Flea's Artistic Director, Niegel Smith. SOUTHERN PROMISES begins previews Monday, March 11 with opening night slated for Sunday, March 24.

THML Theatre Company will continue its fall reading series with a presentation of The Lighthouse by Amanda Kohr. Directed by Associate Artistic Director Natalie Ahn, this is The Lighthouse's first NYC presentation. The reading will take place on Monday, October 15th at 7:30pm at The Center at West Park.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents "24@54' on May 25 at 9:30pm. Hosted by Obie award winning writer-composer Polly Pen (Bed and Sofa, Arlington) it will feature original songs from NYU's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program's cycle 24.
