Cal State Fullerton's 2018-2019 theatre season opens with the powerful "Bee-luther-hatchee" by Thomas Gibbons. The production is directed by guest professional director Saundra McClain and runs October 5-28, 2018 in the Hallberg Theatre on campus. The play follows Shelita Burns, an African-American editor, who publishes "Bee-luther-hatchee," the award-winning biography of a reclusive 72-year-old black woman named Libby Price. Having never met, Shelita decides to deliver a copy to Libby. The meeting between the two stirs a complex confrontation and challenges preconceptions.

Entire Off-Broadway Ensemble to Return for INDECENT on Broadway
Daryl Roth, Elizabeth Ireland McCann and Cody Lassen, the producers of Indecent -- the newest work by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel (HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE) -- have announced that the entire original Off-Broadway ensemble will travel to Broadway when the production begins previews at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues), on April 4, prior to its official opening night on April 18.

The Drama Book Shop, now celebrating its 99th year, will welcome playwright Paula Vogel and director Rebecca Taichman, the creative forces behind Indecent, for a discussion about the play. The event will take place on Friday, June 10th at 5:00PM. It is free to the public. For those unable to attend, the Tony Award-winning Drama Book Shop will live-stream the conversation on their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/dramabookshop) and on their Periscope channel @dramabookshop.

Called 'Deeply absorbing,' and 'Cerebrally challenging' by The Washington Post, the production features Capital Stage veteran Michael Wiles (THE REAL THING, HEDDA GABLER, SOMEONE WHO'LL WATCH OVER ME, MASTER CLASS, FAT PIG) and CapStage newcomer Jessica Powell. UNCANNY VALLEY will be directed by Producing Artistic Director Jonathan Williams (TRIBES, THE ELABORATE ENTRANCE OF CHAD DEITY, DYING CITY). UNCANNY VALLEY will run from June 17 through July 19, with a Press Opening on Saturday June 20, 2015.
