Few musicals make you smile, clap and sing along in your seat like JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. Through the years, I've seen many takes on this Andrew Lloyd Weber musical. As a fan of it, I'm here to tell you that the Just Off Broadway's production of JOSEPH a?" directed by Tammy Oppel - may be one of my very favorites. I've seen companies put all sorts of spin on the story. It's a great showcase for creativity, and I thought I'd seen them all. But JOB's spin is perfectly suited for the story and the show.

Cockpit In Court Summer Theatre Presents SYLVIA


Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, in residence at CCBC Essex, will perform Sylvia by American playwright and novelist A. R. Gurney, June 15 through June 30. All performances will be held at the Robert and Eleanor Romadka College Center, Cabaret Theatre at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard.

Dundalk Community Theatre begins its 2019 season with Bill Russell's 1998 Tony Award Nominated Musical "Side Show", from November 9th - 18th. The show brings to life the world of Daisy and Violet Hilton, conjoined twins, who became famous stage performers in the 1930s. Individual tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for senior adults and $17 for students/DCT Actors/Children 12 and under.

Howard County Arts Council Welcomes New Deputy Director


The Howard County Arts Council is pleased to announce that Tammy Oppel has joined its staff in the position of Deputy Director.  Ms. Oppel will be responsible for managing the Howard County Center for the Arts and maximizing the use of the Center as a resource for the arts.

After months of waiting the secret is finally revealed...Dundalk Community Theatre will concluded its 41st season with that finger snapping family many of us grew up with, The Addams Family. Who could forget the words used to describe them: 'They're creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky, they're altogether ooky!' This much anticipate musical tells a new tale in the life of the Addams as their little girl Wednesday grows up and finds love. The show runs from tonight, May 1st to May 10th.
