Bello Nock, named "America's Best Clown" by TIME magazine, will loom over the audience on a 44-foot sway pole in one of his many eye-popping stunts. This revamped incarnation of Bello's Drama Desk-nominated spectacular comes to the New Vic April 15 - May 1.

The New York Civil Liberties Union, the New York State affiliate of the ACLU, just welcomed an array of award-winning performers for Broadway Stands Up for Freedom, its annual benefit concert, which was held last night, July 21, at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place, NYC).performaers included: Adam Chanler-Berat, Justin Guarini, Zach Unger, Barrett Foa, Lena Hall, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Condola Rashad, Robin de Jesus, Seth Rudetsky, Telly Leung and more! Bello Nock, the circus superstar Time Magazine calls "America's Best Clown," will amuse and amaze children of all ages as he performs his unique blend of comic daredevilry in a theatrical setting for his brand new show, Bello Mania. Adding a unique and personal touch to the big thrills and laughter audiences have come to expect from their favorite entertainer, Bello will be joined on stage by his daughter Annaleise and supported back stage by his wife, Jennifer, and daughter Amariah. The U.S. premiere of Bello Mania is a true family affair that will perform at The New Victory Theater, 209 West 42nd Street, from March 15-31, 2013.

Last night, May 23, the Drama Desk Association hosted the 55th Annual Drama Desk Awards ceremony at the F.H. LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center. Former Drama Desk Award winner Patti LuPone hosted the ceremony, which honored the best of Broadway and off in the 2009-2010 season. BroadwayWorld.com provided live coverage on the site throughout the ceremony and was on hand at the event to capture the starry arrivals.

Hamingson) announced additional casting today for the Shakespeare in the Park production of TWELFTH NIGHT, directed by Daniel Sullivan. Herb Foster will play Valentine; Kevin Kelly will play Sea Captain; Tony nominee Stark Sands will play Sebastian; Baylen Thomas will play Curio; Jon Patrick Walker will play Fabian; and Tony Award winner Julie White will play Maria. TWELFTH NIGHT will feature original music by symphonic folk-rock band Hem.
