JOB, the world premiere of a new play by Max Wolf Friedlich, starring Peter Friedman and Sydney Lemmon has extended its critically acclaimed run.

Broadway actor and trumpet recording artist Joey Pero has announced the release of a new single featuring Savannah Smith; Let It Go from the Disney hit movie FROZEN. 

Deadline has reported that Laura Benanti will joining the cast of HBO Max's upcoming Gossip Girl sequel series. The cast includes Emily Alyn Lind, Tavi Gevinson, Whitney Peak, Eli Brown, Johnathan Fernandez, Jordan Alexander, Savannah Smith, Evan Mock, Jason Gotay, Thomas Doherty, Adam Chanler-Berat, Savannah Smith and Zion Moreno.

The Composers Showcase has joined forces with WE/EC (stage technicians and backstage workers) and will present the first live showcase since March when The Smith Center was closed due to the pandemic. The Composers Showcase will kick off On With the Show! a 4-night live-streamathon on YouTube and Twitch beginning in the evening on Oct. 23 and continuing in the evenings Oct. 24-26.

Mark Shunock has announced that the October edition of "?Mondays Dark" will take place on Monday, October 13th, 2014 at 8:30 p.m. at Vinyl inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Following the success of last month's "Gone Country" night, 100 percent of the ticket proceeds from the October show will benefit The Healing Curve - a nonprofit initiative to help women who have beaten breast cancer but are left with scars and loss of breast tissue. The on-stage showcase - themed and titled "Women Who Rock," will feature Gretchen Bonaduce, Savannah Smith, Rockie Brown, Justin Mortelitti, Jaime Lynch and others to be announced, all in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

'Rock of Ages' star Mark Shunock's March edition of 'Mondays Dark' took place on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 8:30 p.m. at Body English Nightclub inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Following the success of last month's tribute to the rock band QUEEN, 100 percent of the ticket proceeds from this week's show benefits the Shine Family Foundation and featured the music of 'The '80s - Unplugged.' Special guests included, the 'Rock of Ages' band Arsenal, Chris Phillips and Lydia Ansel of Zowie Bowie, James Mulligan, Tina Dawn from 'Absinthe,' Elise Furr from 'Jubilee,' illusionist Mark Bennick, Anne Martinez and Savannah Smith of BBR, Geechy Guy from 'America's Got Talent,' and Becca Kotte and Jason Oles from 'Rock Of Ages.' Other red carpet Vegas headliners in attendance included hypnotist Anthony Cools and celebrity magician, Murray Sawchuck, both of whom have performed at previous Mondays Dark events. David Saxe Productions is excited to announce the addition of Broadway star Josh Strickland to the cast of VEGAS! The Show. Most recently, Strickland starred in Peepshow and now he is set to debut in VEGAS! The Show by the end of September at the Saxe Theater inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.

For the seventh year in a row, Cascio Interstate Music, Wisconsin's largest music store and among the nation's largest independent music retailers, will again present Summerfest's only stage for local and original music, but in a new co-sponsor arrangement.

Casting for the 60th Music Circus season is nearing completion. After auditioning performers in New York, Los Angeles and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre Artistic Director Glenn Casale is finalizing the acting company for the seven-show season at the Wells Fargo Pavilion. The company is expected to include Broadway veterans, including Tony Award nominees, television comedians, up-and-coming young actors and plenty of returning Music Circus favorites.
