TFFJ Announces Immersive Dinner Theatre Gala Based On Original Works

On Tuesday, October 30, Teens for Food Justice (TFFJ) will hold its annual gala, "Feast 2018 with Chef David Laris," an immersive dinner theatre experience honoring international superstars Emilio and Gloria Estefan, model and actress Karolina Kurkova and her husband Archie Drury at Tribeca Rooftop. The event will support TFFJ's mission to galvanize a youth-led movement to eradicate food insecurity in one generation.

Four stories of family, gender, female empowerment and migration comprise the projects supported by Sundance Institute's Theatre Program at its two-week Lab at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA), taking place December 4-18. Dedicated to the creation and development of new musical theatre work, the Lab's projects are cast individually, rehearsed daily and benefit from concentrated, uninterrupted time and resources.

WET Launches 8th Season With 'A Perfect Couple'

WET (Women's Expressive Theater, Inc.) launches its 8th season with the World Premiere of Brooke Berman's A PERFECT COUPLE. Produced on an Off-Broadway contract, this limited engagement production is directed by Maria Mileaf (THE ARGUMENT at The Vineyard). Previews begin June 7th at the DR2 (103 East 15th Street) where WET became the first theater company in residence last year.
