How an American dream ends up as an American tragedy pretty much sums up the gut wrenching production of ALL MY SONS now playing at Road Less Traveled Theater. Arthur Miller's 1947 classic immerses the audience is post World War II Americana, where the pangs of the war are still felt and a quest for happiness and prosperity could be felt in every suburban neighborhood.

Alleyway Theatre kicks off the second half of its season with a fantastical new drama about the power of human connection. THE ALEPH COMPLEX, by Deborah Yarchun, is the latest recipient of Alleyway's Maxim Mazumdar New Play Award.

After 20 months of sitting on a darkened stage at Shea's 710 Theatre, All For One Theatre Productions dusted off the set that has sat idle for the brilliant production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME. The production closed on opening night in March 2020, never being able to be seen by a paying audience due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Now with a vaccinated and masked audience, the abundance of talent that went into making this production can now be seen. It was definitely worth the wait.

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) is excited to announce its second Screen to Stage series event which will feature a reading of Beverly Hills Cop, written by Daniel Petrie.   Directed by Artistic Director Scott Behrend and Literary Director Katie Mallinson, the cast will include Ensemble members Lisa Vitrano, Kristen Tripp Kelley, Anthony Alcocer, Dave Hayes, Sara Kow-Falcone, Peter Palmisano, Matt Witten and David Marciniak alongside Charmagne Chi, Jake Hayes, Ben Moran and Ricky Needham.

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) is excited to kick off its 2017-2018 season with a Western New York-premiere of John, a comedy by Annie Baker.  In 2016, John received nominations for five Lucille Lortel awards and six Drama Desk Awards.  RLTP's production will star Darleen Pickering Hummert, Priscilla Young Anker, Sara Kow Falcone and Adam Yellen under the direction of David Oliver.  Production team includes Dyan Burlingame (set design), John Rickus (light design), Maura Simmonds Price (costume/props) and Katie Menke (sound design).

BWW Interviews: Actress Sara Kow-Falcone

A great week of general auditions and callbacks for the 2016-17 season with 60+ talented individuals attending the two-night and three days of callbacks seeking to fill roles for all four ART/WNY productions. Maura Nolan, director for Halley Fieffer's HOW TO MAKE FRIENDS AND THEN KILL THEM, Jeffrey Coyle, director for Steve Martin's THE UNDERPANTS, Matthew LaChiusa, director for A BEHANDING IN SPOKANE and alongside Billy Horn, musical director for AMERICAN IDIOT, had the difficult decision to chose from all those who attended. Once the dust settled, two of the four shows have been fully cast with the other two in the process of finalizing cast lists.

O'Connell & Company's current production of WOMEN ON FIRE by Irene O'Garden, will welcome 2 very special guests at the April 29th performance. The shows author Irene O'Garden and the original star of the piece, Tony award winning actress Judith Ivey.  Irene O'Garden's critically acclaimed play, WOMEN ON FIRE starring Judith Ivey, was twice extended and played to sold-out houses Off Broadway at the Cherry Lane Theatre. It was nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award for Best Solo Show, and two of its monologues are published in Best Women's Stage Monologues.

O'Connell & Company, the professional theatre in residence at The Park School of Buffalo, presents WOMEN ON FIRE by Irene O'Garden, opening on April 7 and running through May 1, 2016.   WOMEN ON FIRE is a vibrant set of monologues revealing women's private emotions within contemporary culture.  Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) is excited to announce the grand opening of its new theater space on Friday September 11th at 500 Pearl Street in downtown Buffalo. The new Road Less Traveled Theater will offer more patron amenities including comfortable seating with plenty of legroom, a lobby bar and plenty of area parking and restaurants within walking distance. "The new Road Less Traveled Theater will remain a unique, intimate space, but inside a true architectural gem." says Managing Director, Gina Gandolfo-Lopez of the former Buffalo Christian Center and Forbes Theater space.
